Description

Katsushika Hokusai, a renowned Japanese ukiyo-e artist, created several notable ceiling paintings for festival floats during his visits to Obuse in the 1840s. Among these works are "Masculine Waves" (男浪, Otoko Nami) and "Feminine Waves" (女浪, Onna Nami), which he painted for the ceiling of the Kamimachi festival float. These dynamic wave motifs showcase Hokusai's masterful depiction of natural elements.

The lateest set of Hokusai bearbricks come in a 400%+100% set.
